Yoga for Health & Well-being

Classes are held Tuesday 6:30-7:45pm / Friday 10:30-11:45am

Cost = $12/class (1st class is free)


This is a therapeutic Yoga class with a goal to nurture your physical, emotional, and spiritual well being.

This Hatha Yoga group class welcomes all levels of experience, including beginners. The Yoga for Health & Well-being class focuses on increasing strength, balance, and flexibility using Viniyoga principles of movement while incorporating essential breathing and meditation techniques.


You will learn the following:

  • Breath-centered movement

  • Use of isometrics and resistance props.

  • Appropriate range of motions that are active rather than passive

  • Repetition in postures to help identify muscular imbalances

  • Static postures for building strength, endurance, and inner purification

  • Breathing techniques

  • Techniques like: guided imagery, visualization, and the use of sound


This class considers different abilities, limitations, and age differences while honoring the quality and needs of a group class.


Severe limitations or those suffering from challenging physical conditions are best served individually.
