Classes are held Tuesday 6:30-7:45pm / Friday 10:30-11:45am
Cost = $12/class (1st class is free)
This is a therapeutic Yoga class with a goal to nurture your physical, emotional, and spiritual well being.

This Hatha Yoga group class welcomes all levels of experience, including beginners. The Yoga for Health & Well-being class focuses on increasing strength, balance, and flexibility using Viniyoga principles of movement while incorporating essential breathing and meditation techniques.
You will learn the following:

Breath-centered movement

Use of isometrics and resistance props.

Appropriate range of motions that are active rather than passive

Repetition in postures to help identify muscular imbalances

Static postures for building strength, endurance, and inner purification

Breathing techniques
-
Techniques like: guided imagery, visualization, and the use of sound
This class considers different abilities, limitations, and age differences while honoring the quality and needs of a group class.
Severe limitations or those suffering from challenging physical conditions are best served individually.
